“This is our favorite restaurant to grab Jamaican style Oxtails and gravy and brown stew chicken. Some of the sides are so-so. For example the sweet potatoes aren't exactly sweet as someone from an African American background may be expecting. And the greens have a flavor profile that may be traditional in Jamaican culture but most Americans may find surprising. The mac and cheese is as expected extremely cheesy and satisfying.”

“The fellow politely told me on my arrival that; my price would be more than the advertised rate since my car required 6 (not 5qts.) of oil, and despite the credit card stickers on the window, they didn't accept plastic. He changed the oil and filter, we checked the lights and the whole process took 20 minutes. I would have given them 5 stars if they had accepted credit cards.”

“My son started attending full-time from the age of 4 months until just before 3 years old. I can't say enough positive things about this school. The teachers are great, the school is clean. It's a place you can feel comfortable dropping of your kids. My son loves going to this school and has made some good friends. They learn so much here and even do some yoga! He likes to show me some of his poses when he comes home. When we've had personal changes and schedule changes due to COVID, they were willing to work with us and be flexible which meant a lot. Now that I am home full-time, my son attends on a drop-in basis. I wouldn't want to take him away from the school he loves completely.”

Connie is not really running a turnstile type motel. She has most of the rooms rented out to long term guests. She treats everyone like family. If you're hungry Connie will feed you. If you don't have any clothes Connie has plenty of stuff from past guests. If you want fancy service and want to act like a big shot go to the Hard Rock. If you need someone who will sit with you when your low and tell you everything will be alright Connie is that person. Ain't that pretty!!!”
