They had a nice fishing lure selection and lots of Yeti mugs and coolers. Quite a big clothing section too. One side of the store was Turner Home furnishings that we did not check out this visit. “We needed fans and chandeliers for a house we’re building and my husband spotted this store. Jeffrey Haddad, the owner, has a great selection of both, plus many other items. On top of the already good prices he is offering 20% off of everything. We found just the ceiling fan we wanted. Jeffrey offered to open the box and check if the fan worked. He helped us envision the full size of the fan using his tape measure. He said he gets a new batch of items in every so often. This will be a fun store to stop in at.”

“My husband and I recently bought a townhome for our daughter. We have made many improvements over the last few weeks so we have made multiple trips to Home Depot. Tonight we went to buy a hot water heater. Thomas was so very helpful and kind. He had a young guy named Josh I believe helping him. It was wonderful watching Josh listen intently to everything Thomas was saying about hot water heaters. Thomas was not only very knowledgeable in plumbing, he also demonstrated exactly how to provide excellent customer service. Bella was very helpful when we checked out. She even helped load our truck. I’m not sure if it’s just the Home Depot’s in Jacksonville that have been so friendly and helpful lately but whoever has enforced these new changes needs a raise!”

“If you don’t need a door, you likely find a reason to buy one anyway. There are 1000s of door and windows inside and outside. There are a lot of hidden gems tucked away. Some nostalgic pieces for everyone. The son who runs it now is super nice and helpful once you find him. The property is a lot larger than it looks from the road. I had some kitchen cabinets picked out and was hoping for a reasonable price. The cabinetry price was a bit high for being used. Good quality as well. But when there’s only a minimal monetary reduction for a used cabinet as opposed to a new assembled one, I have to go new. I’m not a hagler and there was probably some wiggle room in the price. Nonetheless it’s an eclectic property with something for everyone. It’s worth the trip just to walk around for an hour, but I bet you don’t leave empty handed 😊”

“The front desk was very polite, there was a bunch of carpenters there getting stuff. I was there just to look at knobs, they explained to me that they are a wholesaler but they could still sell to me. He said he couldn’t help me design the look but I found some that I liked an gave him the item number from a clip board he gave me. When he finished with the customer he gave me the prices and I choose the best one. He told me it wasn’t in stock so I got upset but then he said it would only take a day and he could even ship it to my house!!! All in all it was a great experience! “From day 1 I started going to Ace for bait to fish in the small lake in the back of my son’s house in Clermont my customer experience has been “Top Notch” from all of the employees there. My wife and I & my grandson came down a second time to Clermont to stay and of course we went to Ace for our bait. The gentleman I met the first time, Ryan, has been exceptional when it comes to customer service. After a few trips of getting bait, I had one mishap with the bait. I called and spoke to Ryan and advised me to come back on their next delivery of bait and he will take care of it. We’ll, this gentleman is a man of his word. I purchased some bait and he replenished the ones that where lost. Whenever I visit my family here in Clermont I’ll be coming to this Ace for all of my home, garden and of course my fishing needs. By the way my grandson caught a 6.9lb bass and I caught a 7.4lb bass using Ace shiners. Thanks again Ryan for everything you’ve done for me and my family during our stay in Clermont.”

Big improvement. The additional self check out lanes that were installed a while back, are a plus for this location since it's always busy. This location has a good stock of plants and herbs to spruce up your garden or curb appeal. We went for fencing, which has doubled in price. While we see this being a trend all over, we chose to build our own fence from scratch. HD has competitive prices for those materials.”
