“Thank you Captain Mike for an amazing tour and experience at the Disappearing Island! Captain Mike was super entertaining, fun, engaging, and the best host! The boat is maintained well and kept super clean!! We had so much fun hanging out for 4 hours, getting to see fish, dolphins, and manatees! We had to see at least 20 dolphins and one of them swam right by the boat we could almost touch it!! The Disappearing Island was amazing and we got to swim right off of the little beach where we saw some crabs, and played Marco Polo with Captain Mike! The ride was super smooth, so if you get motion sick, no need to worry here! We listened to music, ate some snacks, and took beautiful pictures! If you haven’t been on a boat tour, this should be your first! We would definitely come back again!!”

“The location was perfect & right on the beach. The room we stayed in, unit 2, was perfect for the 2 of us. Mother & daughter. Clean & just enough space with a great kitchen. Only 1 downside was the pull out sofa mattress was so thin I felt like I was sleeping on the frame. Other than that everything was great. They even have a community room that you can borrow books, games & Movies.”

“My family and I have stored our boat at Yacht Club Drive Marina since the day we bought out boat! Honestly it is one of the best decisions we have ever made! We live in Miami, and if you know anything about Miami marinas, you know how crazy they can be. Yacht Club Drive marina is the best marina! The marina is super safe. We have left our boat there with many valuables and never ONCE have we ever had an issue or anything missing from our boat! The marina and the bait shop is 24 hours. The storage pricing is incredible! But the best thing and the real reason we love this marina is the people who run it! Ramiro and Tod! These two gentlemen are the nicest, most dedicated people we have ever met! They are super kind, respectful to all the clients, always always willing to lend a hand, and they care about the place as if it was their own. We have shown up at all hours - 2 am, 3 am, all hours; and every single time we show up and call them, they are there with the same happy and willing attitude! “It’s been over 2 weeks since our stay and I’m still in awe of how perfect this resort was for our very large extended family! And I mean RESORT! Upon entering the wooden gate, you step into a breathtaking garden full of Florida natives that leads to the main house to the right or the path down to the tennis court. Be sure not to let the tree swing distract you on your way! The house is large, has very tall ceilings, and is perfect for entertaining with a kitchen that has a peninsula where people can gather while also open to one of the two large living areas. The dining room has an oversized dining table and buffet with lots of natural light coming in from a window that takes up an entire wall! There are so many great features inside the house but the outdoor ones are also incredible. The wrap around porch overlooks the property and the views are amazing, reminiscent of being up in a tree house. When we weren’t swimming in what looked to be a brand new pool and heated spa, we played tennis on a beautifully maintained clay court while family watched courtside at an outdoor table complete with the biggest umbrella I’ve even seen. (There is another one next to the pool, as well as a fire pit). We also took out the kayaks (one person, single, and doubles) and within two minutes down a canal, you’re in the intercoastal waters and a nearby sandbar where you can get out and play as the water gets really shallow! I only have so much time to write down everything that I LOVED about this truly Personal Resort but words do not do this place justice!! It is a must see for yourself kind of paradise!! “Being locals we loved our stay cation at Runaway Bay. We stayed on the 2nd floor bay side and enjoyed fabulous sun rises. The apartment was clean and well stocked for at home cooking which we did alot of. We really wanted a blender. There were a few things that needed attention which is why only 4 stars. I would stay there again and would definately recommend it to family and friends.”

“Extremely happy and grateful for the affordable and convenient kayak rental. We were given ample instructions and reviewed the map of the area and off we went. We chose to paddle down Sykes Creek and were ecstatic over the number of manatees we came across. These sea cows were huge and playful! They put on a big show for us. Then, we were delighted to see 3 dolphins in the last 20 minutes of our paddle. We highly recommend Cape Crossing rentals. Absolutely fantastic day of paddling!”
