(April 25, 2023, 6:37 pm)Great place to hike. There are two different parking lots on either side of the park. The parking lot on the south side is much larger. Trails are heavily used but it's still a great hike.
(February 9, 2023, 9:12 pm)Only a 20 min drive on 75N from Kennesaw. Beautiful view on the summit especially at sunset. Nice system of trails to choose from. All trails are under 5 miles unless you connect them. If you were to connect all in a day, you could probably make ten or so miles. Two parking lots on opposite sides and exits. Favorite spot for an impulsive hike and or run. 🥾 🥾🥾
(December 31, 2022, 10:41 am)Nice little hike to peak of Pine Mountain. Elevation is 1560 feet and you start around 750 feet. 1.23 miles to the top and there are some rocky and steeper sections of the trail. I feel that young kids would be ok here but older hikers would need a good hiking stick for some assistance. They do allow bikes here on some days....and some bikers choose to ignore those rules...just be weary of that if you have smaller children. Dog friendly as well.
(December 13, 2021, 10:25 pm)Mountain biking permitted on Wednesday and Saturday only. Very intense and not well marked trails. Not a place for beginners or even intermediate riders.
(August 2, 2021, 10:03 am)Great place for a relaxing hike or a challenging workout. Trail is clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend to come by and check it out!
