May Roselawn Festival is always amazing!
Attended a small wedding ceremony here so didn't learn much about the history of the home. Was impressed by the furnishings and Christmas decorations. Felt like I stepped back into time. Seemed well-maintained. Easy parking.
This tour was amazing! The house is in impeccable condition and you can tell how well loved it has been both by the original family and the entire town. This house and its owners have a wonderful backstory tying in outstanding architectural feats, the suffrage movement, methodism and evangelical fame, close knit familial relationships between classes and races, and even Nashville Ryman history! A must see in Cartersville! Jane, the Director of the museum, will make you feel like one of the family. She is outstanding and extremely knowledgeable about the history of this fine home! I didn't want to leave!
This lovely Victorian French Second Empire home once owned by Reverend Samuel P Jones is a great historical find nestled in the historical district of Cartersville Georgia hidden just north of Atlanta this is a must-see attraction anytime one is coming into Bartow County The Carriage House in the back also features a wonderful wedding venue with a backdrop of the lovely Victorian home
I had my wedding reception here, so affordable and so beautiful! We used the main house and the newly renovated carriage house. We set up our waffle bar in the main house and had most of the reception in the carriage house. Such a picturesque venue! Plenty of parking (we had about 50 or so guests) and everything worked out perfectly.

Cartersville Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, this beautifully restored Victorian mansion, now owned by Bartow County and operated as a house museum, was once the home of nationally renowned evangelist Samuel Porter Jones, for whom Nashville's Union Gospel Tabernacle (Ryman Auditorium) was built.
