(February 22, 2022, 6:21 pm)Both my daughter (6) and son (7) attend CKD we joined 3 months ago and I right away saw a difference in my kids behavior. Not that they were bad kids, but in the way they would think before they act, the way they answer back, the way they focus on their school work! The way CKD treats the kids with respect and teaches them values is what really sold me into this place! Everyone is so friendly, so respectful, and most importantly they truly show Honor to everyone who enters their doors! This place has been way more then I could of ever expected and ask for! Master Cruzado is amazing especially when he takes the time to just ask me how my kids are doing at home and in school! The fact that he truly cares is amazing! Thank you CKD for loving on my kids I really appreciate this place!
(January 17, 2022, 2:45 pm)My son is 4 and absolutely loves Canton CKD! Just today he was reciting "My promise". Our goals for him are to learn self-discipline, self-control, listening skills, following directions, and self-defense. So far, we have been extremely pleased with the skills he has learned.
(August 22, 2021, 2:58 pm)My daughter has been a student of Master Cruzado’s for a year now. This has been an amazing experience for her as well as us as parents watching her develop and become more disciplined. Master Cruzado is great instructor and has a gift working with all the ages, especially the little kids (I don’t know how he does it sometimes…LOL).
He keeps them engaged through each class, the development moving, advancement to the next level belt is not great lengths of time (if you are mastering the techniques), and also hosts great events for the kids outside of the normal weekly schedule (fun nights, amusement center gatherings, camps, etc.).
Thank you Master Cruzado (and additional instructors) for creating an amazing fun and learning atmosphere at Canton CKD!
(March 22, 2021, 5:50 pm)My son is in the Tiny Tigers class, and we absolutely love this place! The instructors are amazing and so patient with all the little kids! They know exactly how to keep them engaged and improving every class. My son struggles with focusing and paying attention and some discipline, but I have noticed great improvements! Master Cruzado is amazing and very involved to make sure everyone gets the most out of every class! We 100% recommend!!!
(August 5, 2017, 10:32 am)Choi Kwang Do (CKD) in general is a wonderful martial art that focuses on whole health of your body and mind. It is an amazing discipline that is appropriate for the entire family. Canton CKD is one of the best schools around. Jonathan Crusado (Master Crusado) is constantly working to ensure the best experience, training and discipline of all students. He is a master of the art and spends hours each day on his personal development. My son, Chandler, and I are both students of Master Crusado. Chandler (who is 12 and very reserved) has continued to gain confidence in himself and is comfortable to assist in class. He recently achieved his 1st degree black belt (a 3 year journey) and wants to open his own CKD school one day. He has stayed committed and focused on CKD even at his young age. It is the only "sport" that he has truly loved. I am 44 and just recently started my CKD journey. I watched Chandler in class and knew it was something I wanted to do. I love the program and instruction and prefer this exercise to most others that I have tried. The friendships gained are amazing. The support is wonderful. I cannot say enough about it. There are several parent/child members and it is such a special bond that is shared between the parent and the child.
