Building Material Surplus

I can describe this place in one word. AWESOME!

I had an exterior door get destroyed by a recent winter storm. The big box stores were advising an 8-12 week turn around. I discovered Building Material Surplus and contacted them. Long story short, in 2 days I had an exact replacement door. Unbelievable.
Great guys too. Very helpful.

After going all over the area looking for the right door and never finding what we really wanted, we stopped in to Building Material Surplus this week. Within two minutes, we found the door we were looking for and at a price below the other “surplus” and home improvement places.

I brought in our old door and they cut the new one to match it so we didn’t have to replace the whole doorframe. We got it home and it fit like a glove. After adding new hardware and a fresh paint job, it’s just what we wanted. Could not have gone any smoother.

I had these guys custom make a front door frame complete with 2 side lights. After giving Tiger the measurements he needed, the frame was completed the same day. I had the frame installed the following day by a professional carpenter and it looks great. Excellent craftsmanship, good quality materials and 1/4 of the cost from the big box stores or online. I would definitely recommend.
