Cherokee Christian Schools

Wonderful school. Wonderful people. I'm very happy my three children have the opportunity to attend Cherokee Christian. We've been there for five years now, and we've NEVER had a bad experience. On the contrary, we have found the school to be academically strong and a constructive challenge for the children, and our experience with other students, parents, and faculty has been one of love, respect, and care. I highly recommend CCS.

Our child is attending CCS for the second year, although not that long, we had a great experience so far. Everyone on the staff has been extra nice and helpful. Every time I called or emailed school, I get response back immediately.
We had some issues with the teacher who is now gone, hopefully this coming year it will be better.
I have read about students that are "popular" and unpopular children get rejected by the rest of the students and if that happens I will withdraw my son from CCS. I am paying too much for having less than public school can offer in terms of good teachers and "popularity" contest.

I felt compelled to counter the allegations from the other person that posted a negative review.

First and foremost...I have no idea what the reviewer means by saying "you have to be ok with your child conforming to the faculties beliefs". Does this person not understand that Cherokee Christian School is, in fact, a Christian school? Therefore, it should be expected the faculties beliefs are Christian.

We have a child that has been attending here since PreK. The kids that attend this school are all the most well mannered, thoughtful and intelligent kids you'll have the pleasure of ever meeting. Our child has never mentioned kids being in clique's or that felt ostracized. In fact, we give our child a choice to attend the local public school and there is no desire to go to another school...public or private.

Additionally, the teachers are second to none. In order to ensure the children learn the material the teachers will show up early before school, stay after school, meet with you one on one, send daily reports, etc. They will do whatever it takes to "teach" your child. In fact, the kids Stanford Testing scores have consistently ranked at the very top.

Your best bet is to simply go visit the school and meet some of the kids and teachers.
