Lake Shamrock-Blaylock

This is nice little park with two peaceful lakes. It's a great place to spend the day fishing, paddling, or just hanging out with family. It's kept very clean, and is really quiet despite its location. It's an oasis in the middle of the congestion of the area, and feels like your out in the middle of nowhere.

In addition to being a beautiful place to fish or picnic with your family, both Shamrock & Blalock Reservoirs provide excellent habitat for wading birds, waterfowl, otters, and much more. I've seen so many awesome birds including Limpkin, Black-crowned Night Herons, and even a Common Loon.

I've gone to Lake Shamrock several times, not only with my aldult kid's and their wive's but with group of people also and organizations. Ans each and every time were all good, happy, fun time's. The fishing was good, could have been better i think that if you would keep the lake's stock a little more often would help out aloot , and may be put some pavilion's out in diffetent area's woukd be great. But over all it beautiful and i enjoy coming here every time. PS. Also if you would think about selling fish bait would be very sweet. Until we meet again Lake Shamrock keep up the great work.
