I met Dr. Unger a few months ago, and he has been the best psychiatrist I have seen hands down. I've struggled with mental health all of my life and been to several psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. Under my previous doctors, I never felt listened to. With Dr. Unger, however, he truly understands not just my symptoms and my illness, but he takes the time to understand everything about you as a person. He has been the most knowledgeable, personable, wonderful psychiatrist I've had.
Not only is Dr. Unger personable and kind, but also the receptionist is very sweet as well! Whenever I need help with anything, she's always been very kind and helpful!
This is a wonderful place- they truly care and are not just out to get a check. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

After over 25 years of mental health treatment, Dr. Mike Unger (who is West Cobb Psychiatry) is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He has 22 years of experience as a psychiatrist with all different types of patients. This has helped him become even better at what he does. He has excellent knowledge of the psychiatric medications. This enables him to successfully treat patients. He spends a lot of time with you. Even though mediation management isn't counseling, he is compassionate and he asks questions about you. He is genuinely interested in what you have to say. I have multiple diagnoses and have been hard to treat. I even had a psychiatrist give up on me once. Dr. Unger has really helped me to feel better. I highly recommend him.

Doctor Michael Unger is very professional and treated me like a person instead of a number like most doctors. This is not normal is the corporate environment. I am glad I found this small office with a person who cares about his patients.
