“Master Smith has a kind but firm demeanor that works very well with young people. He is not the "stereotypical" martial arts instructor that you see in the movies, like "Karate Kid". He is also very patient and does not belittle the students who are not so physically talented. Our son, who has had attention and focus issues, found a loving home at Smiths Martial Arts Academy and after four years of hard work, has earn a black belt. This was a kid who initially faked being sleepy to get out of going to class. Also, his school is smaller, so you always have Master Smith's attention during class.
