Dr. actually sits down and talks to me about everything and takes his time. The nurse is alway so pleasant to talk to and does a great job drawing my blood. “Master Smith has a kind but firm demeanor that works very well with young people. He is not the "stereotypical" martial arts instructor that you see in the movies, like "Karate Kid". He is also very patient and does not belittle the students who are not so physically talented. Our son, who has had attention and focus issues, found a loving home at Smiths Martial Arts Academy and after four years of hard work, has earn a black belt. This was a kid who initially faked being sleepy to get out of going to class. Also, his school is smaller, so you always have Master Smith's attention during class. “Just like the other reviewers, I think Brittany is a great speech pathologist. My ENT doctor referred me to her as the best chance to recover the range and function I lost when not singing for two years during the pandemic. As Brittany says, the vocal cords are like any other muscle and have to be exercised to regain function. I thought I might never sing again, but working weekly with Brittany gave me hope and motivation, and I am making progress now, confident I will be able to rejoin my choirs when Covid permits.”

“My husband and I have been going to Dr. Poindexter for many years and we now bring our young son. Dr. Poindexter's office is the perfect small practice dental office where everyone knows your name. His practice is the opposite of uncaring, rushed corporate dental clinics that pop up everywhere. I cannot say enough kind things about his dental hygienist, Tracy. She is incredibly kind, gentle and caring. She remembers our conversations and asks about family when we see her. I love getting my teeth cleaned and she does an amazing job. Even my young son loves coming here to get his teeth clean! We've never had a problem with our insurance being accepted and the only way I'm switching dentists is if Dr. Poindexter retires!”

“Such a wonderful and calming environment! I came here for my first pregnancy, unsure of what to expect. She did an assessment of my alignments, and she explained her findings in a manner that was professional but simple enough for the every day person to understand. Dr. Charlotte did a excellent job at explaining everything she was doing and some of the causes of my back ache. At the end, she also showed me stretches to do at home to help lessen my discomfort. Here you get one-on-one attention in a calming room that feels like home. Highly recommend!”

“Great service. They kept me appraised of everything every step of the way. I had a tooth break due to a cavity under a filling. They even positioned a mirror so I could see the cavity myself and not just the X-ray of it. I was even informed over the phone when booking they have a plan you can sign up for that gives great discounts on all their services. I pay out of pocket for dentistry so this was a game changer for me! I saved hundreds getting my crown from them. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and have avoided the dentist because of them. This office made me feel comfortable and safe like I haven’t felt in a very long time. They were honest and upfront. Definitely willing to come to them for a cleaning after the permanent crown goes on in 2 weeks! I feel like I can trust them and I’ll start coming to the dentist for regular cleanings now. Even looking to change my daughter to them as well.”

“I have never had such a professional, kind and courteous experience with a doctor and staff before. From the person at the front desk to the check out was not just easy but also very complete. My first visit was for a check-up. I actually showed up four days early for my blood work and the phlebotomist very kindly took me anyway. For the first time in 58 years I had a phlebotomist get my blood in a single try. (When I got married it took 12 tries.) Not only that, the office staff didn't make me feel like an idiot for getting my appointment time wrong. The person who took my history was very patient and kind. She dealt with me in such a sensitive manner. I was very impressed. The second time I had to go to the doctor I was ill. Dr. Matechak had an emergency. I mistakenly had left my phone off, the staff had tried to call me all morning before my appointment. When I showed up they seamlessly worked me in to see his partner, Dr. Mitchell. I so appreciated it. This is a truly remarkable team. I highly recommend this practice.”
