We are in our 4th year at Eastside Christian School and the school has been a wonderful place for our family. The teachers truly love the students and provide a high caliber of academics, too. We are also grateful for the biblical principles that are the center of all of the instruction and activities at the school. While not old enough to play for the ECS sports teams, our kids love attending the games and cheering on the middle school athletes. We have formed many great friendships with the families at ECS. We highly recommend ECS!
We have been at ECS for 2 years (starting our 3rd year). Couldn't be happier with the quality of education. We love the low student to teacher ratios. It makes a huge difference in the individualized attention and the classrooms are less chaotic. The students and families are exceptional. Respect and moral character are emphasized and developed. Love ECS!!! My older children attended public schools in Alpharetta. We are much happier and more satisfied with ECS.
It has been an incredible blessing or our family to be part of the ECS family for over 8 years. It is so unusual to find a school/church partnership that has struck such a good balance in financial support, sharing of facilities, and common vision. We came to Eastside because of strong academics with a Biblically integrated curriculum and an emphasis on a Christ-centered worldview. Our lives have been enriched tremendously by being part of the school and the friendships that we have formed along the way.
Eastside Christian School is a precious school. My three children have attended since Kindergarten (with my oldest completing K- 8th & my other two currently enrolled in middle school). The teachers adore the children and work tirelessly for them. Mr. Hill is a kind man with a servant's heart. The smaller class sizes, rigorous standards, and student population do not compare with public school....& I know this firsthand because I am a public school teacher. The public school system must adhere to a different set of laws & guidelines. I see the contrast. It is not comparing apples to apples. My goal in placing my own children in private school was so they would get a good education with a biblical worldview (also something we cannot teach in public schools). Eastside has exceeded my expectations. My oldest son entered high school on an eleventh grade math level. He will be in AP courses next year and enter college with credits in math. Eastside prepared him for this.
While my own career path has led me in the direction of reaching students within the public school system, I am grateful that my children have had the privilege of attending & thriving at Eastside Christian School.
