(August 6, 2020, 4:44 pm)My experience has been with the tennis center that is in the park. It's a wonderful facility with over a dozen very well maintained courts. They are hard courts but have a softening surface that makes the impact on the body much less than normal hard courts. The courts are a pleasure to play on.
(March 8, 2020, 8:16 pm)Tumlin Park is a GOOD place to walk a paved path in relatively safe surroundings. However, it would be a GREAT place, and much safer, if the bad sections of the path were smoothed and repaved. Other than that, this is a nice facility with picnic table pavilions, tennis courts, children's playground, rest room facilities, vending machines, a little library, path lighting, ample parking (ADA compliant), a large lake with waterfowl, and mature trees. Walking path is about three quarters of a mile around the perimeter, with inside paths that permit easy reversal of your route. Highly recommend with the caveat to watch your step if walking the paved path.
