Dr. Opeoluwa Akinnusi

We have been seeing Dr. Akinnusi since my son was six years old and she has been amazing.

Dr. Akinnusi is a gem. She is very smart and knowledgeable. My daughter loves her. She helped us through the whole process of getting her tested for and diagnosed with autism, and sent us to the right type of neuropsychologist, as it can be hard to diagnose girls with high functioning autism.
I have read through the other reviews on here. I am appalled at the Google score and this is no way reflects this wonderful doctor in any shape or form. Unfortunately, the provider is always the last person to know of what is wrong with the staff, but Dr. Akinnusi is shaking things up and re-organizing the practice, so it can more truly reflect the loving and dedicated psychiatrist that she is.
Garnetta is no longer with the practice. I figured out how to deal with her and overlook her brashness, but I can imagine a lot of people were turned away with her attitude.

I wish we could clone Eric, as he is a gem too, but unfortunately he moved.
We have gone to Dr. Akinnusi for upwards of 3 years. And she is easily the best psychiatrist in East Cobb.
I send all my patients to her, if she is not booked.

I have been going to Dr Opi for over a 2 yrs now. She is wonderful! I have never had an issue with billing, I have never had an issue with appointments. Yes she is busy only because she is a good practitioner. Her staff is great . She doesn't make you feel like You are crazy. Her med recommendations have helped me more than anyone else has and I am doing better than I have done in a long time.
