Wetlands area and elevated boardwalk

Address: Heritage Park Trail, Smyrna, GA 30082, USA

Park

“Easy in and out trail, right off of the parking lot. More of a walk than a hike. Very well kept. Plenty of access points to the creek. In addition, a few old world buildings that are fun to explore. A little known secret, at the end of the trail look for a path down to the creek. There should be a rope to help you scale down (more as a precaution, it’s not that intense!). Here you can access the waterfall and enjoy the creek!”

North Cooper Lake Park

Address: Unnamed Road, Smyrna, GA 30082, USA

“The mountain bike trail is fun to go on with your kids. Best if they have a 21 speed bike though. A seven speed may be hard to pedal uphill. There are also three levels of BMX courses, and a concrete pump track, which is a circle of concrete turns and humps. And, of course, a playground.”
