“I was referred to S&W by my mechanic. We had a blown motor on an Acura. I called JJ, and he told me about the motors he had on hand, recommended one he said was the “best.” It was the most expensive, too. I asked which he’d put in his car. He said, “I already told you. The best one.” “But why?, lower miles?” said I. “No. Because I’ve seen it. And I’ve seen the car it came out of. It appears to be a good motor. It’s what I’d choose.” Sounded legit. I took his word for it. Received electronic confirmation, paid electronically, it was delivered to the shop in under 24 hours, and the core hauled off. My mechanic called and said, “I got great news! This is a really good motor.” The timing belt and water pump looked new. The engine was very clean. No need to go through anything. By the next morning, the car was ready to go. I cannot convey how nice it is to entrust something like a remote engine purchase to a guy who just came across as authentic on the phone. He was knowledgeable enough to make an educated assessment about the routine maintenance, etc, the previous owner had put into the car. Great service. Thanks a ton!”
