Stephenson Middle School

I was very worried about sending my 7th grader to Stephenson especially coming from the charter school environment. It was a wonderful decision for my daughter. The principle and his staff are consistently stern with the middle schoolers (Which I love); order and discipline is a clear priority. There are fights here and there however are handle rapidly. One of the things I was most fearful of was classroom sizes. My daughter never had more than 18 students in any of her classes, where as she had 35 in her Charter school class!! Because it is Title 1, there are so many great programs to ensure diverse learning and time is taken to ensure students learn IN CLASS rather than thousands of hours of homework just to appear that the charter school is doing more. My daughter has grown and learned tremendously at Stephenson- about life and accountability.

i honestly love this school, the staff allows students to have after school tutorials to get help and raise their grades in any subject. The students are very nice and welcoming and i have made alot of friends here. The hallways are very spacious and clean and the teachers here are very friendly

Stephenson Middle School is the best middle school ever. It gets better and better by the day. We will keep excelling to the top. I love this school nothing else to say (drop the mic)
