It is huge parc with a playground and huge lake, recommended for families and for a long forest walk.
Sprawling park with 2 sets of playgrounds, lots of soccer fields, tennis courts, a dog park and hiking trails around a lake.
Brand new bathrooms greatly improve this already great park
Nice little park for kids to go. Kinda private since it is in the back of a neighborhood. Small lake for fishing and kayaking. Nice trail to walk around the lake. Bunch of turtles and frogs. Overall, a nice place to get outside for a couple of hours.
What a great park! The three main trail systems (red, white, and blue blazes) are fantastic. But be careful, as some of the trails get narrow, steep, or bumpy with rocks and roots.
There are actually TWO waterfalls in the park! On the north end of Lake Erin is a steep, grassy hill beside a fall just below a drain pipe. Don't let that turn you off, though: it's fantastic! Just listen for the running water and be careful as you approach.
On the south side of the lake is the more popular waterfall, which isn't on the trail map. You can listen for hikers "in the know" (as we did); or try following the unmarked route just on the west side of the southernmost boardwalk.
Check out this park!
This park is a nice place to take a quiet walk. The trail is largely unpaved so I recommend that you wear some supportive hiking shoes. The boardwalks that are spread throughput the trail add a few nice places to stop and admire a little bit of nature.
