We learned side by side assisting and other duties of a dental assistant that I didn’t even know existed. We learned how to talk to patients and give advice and how to work in a real dental environment. We learned in an actual pediatric dental office instead of a stuffy classroom and got to experience the hustle and bustle of the day to day dental assistant.
