“Must Place To Take Your Scout. After being taken advantaged of at multiple shops in Florida I found the Scoutman. First dealt with Beverly the operations manager and her knowledge and ability to work with me was outstanding. Dropped off my 79 Scout II with Dustin and Mike and from the first meeting I knew I had chosen the right place. They totally rewired the vehicle and added fuel injection in a very timely and professional manner. After picking the vehicle up and returning to Florida I had a small issue with some gauges and with out hesitation the Scoutman family said that they wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied and sent Mike to my house to help fix the issue. Unfortunately I needed to scrape the driver side window and get both windows done at the same time (Driver side had two layers of tint, it would've been impossible to match) He worked me in the very next day, scraped my Driver window and put tint on both driver and passenger side. It looks amazing! Very happy with the job, the price and the time it took! And the fact he gives a lifetime warranty on his work just makes me feel confident that should any bubbles happen he will handle it. I will use him again in the future! Amazing job. Very happy! “When I first looked up this place, I saw a lot of bad reviews and comments about John. All I can say is that he treated me with nothing but kindness, honesty, and professionalism. He even told me about an online coupon so I could get a discount on my inspection! The only negative in my whole experience was that they closed a few minutes early the day I came to pick up my vehicle, so I had to wait until the next day to get it. But that was mostly on me for showing up so close to the time they closed. Otherwise, everything was perfect! They told me that my transmission was shot, and the cost of the repair would have been more than the car was worth. They could have made some serious money off of me, but they chose honesty. A few days later, I brought a used car to them for an inspection, which helped me make the decision to purchase it. Both interactions with them were wonderful, and John took great care of me. Between both visits, I spent less than $25. I couldn't recommend them more! And I am truly thankful for the service John provided. Don't always trust what the reviews say, especially since most people who take the time to write a review are the unhappy ones, as satisfied people don't have a bone to pick.
