“We've been bringing our dogs here for a few years. We bring them here so they can run. Sometimes that's hard to do when you live in a subdivision. The city does a good job with the upkeep. There are several areas for different sized dogs. Our dogs always enjoy themselves at this dog park. There is handicap parking right beside the park if you drive down the path, otherwise you park at the top of the hill and walk down. I tried to include detailed pictures of the path, handicap parking, and all three dog areas.”

“Great place to get a nice workout in and it's very quiet not to many people come here so you will have the place to yourself.”

“Beautiful and quiet trails. Super nice place for a walk/hike. They even have a bathroom you can use! There are wooded meadows, little creeks, and the paths are well defined with markers. There are different trails that you can follow and they’re all color coded. I would say to not walk here alone because it’s far in the woods, so make sure you have someone with you while you walk. You can hear the birds and when you walk along the creek on the blue trail you can hear the water flowing. The trails are nice and shaded so even if it’s hot out, the shade keeps you cool.”

“Always a great trip here--Clean park, track, playground, football/soccer field, golf, baseball, softball, Frisbee, restrooms, friendly people, and pets. Picnicking and grilling areas are always well kept and there's plenty of room to walk and run trails with a multitude of routes. By far, my favorite do it all or do nothing park!”

“Would be five stars of the bathrooms were left unlocked regular hours. Without that, your time there with kids is limited. This recreation center is growing nicely. They playground has always been fun, and the skatepark is great. The season (and hours) for the pool and water play area is too limited, and the cost of entry too high - but it is nice when you get inside. The new community garden adjacent to the playground looks great, but I do hope they leave the rest of the field space undeveloped as it is great for play.”

“Nice lake and park, though most of the lake shore is dominated by a golf course and housing. No wildlife, but good fishing.”

“Absolutely love going there, nice get away in nature. Love going there. It's like taking a step away from everyday hassles WITHOUT driving a couple hours. The day we were there we seen a good bit of wildlife including a few reptiles. Saw deer all the way down to a couple of harmless snakes. One was a rat snake the other was a banded water snake. LOTS of different trails to walk. You can walk on high land or on wet lands.will be splitting our time between here and Nesmith.”

“This is the easiest rental place I've ever found! Because I'm a County resident, the price was better than right. My aunt is now deciding to have her retirement party there. They gave me no real clean up instructions so, of course, we try to leave it cleaner than we found it. The staff was so easy to work with!”

“I have been coming to this park my entire life. Wish they would have kept the big blue concrete things... Just a tiny little rinky dink park on the corner of hippocket, but its always been here and its a part of my childhood and hopefully my children's children too.”

“One of my favorite places to go and enjoy a peaceful Sunday afternoon. Always plenty of shade, though it does get crowded over the summer, and plenty of space for dogs and kids to run around. The sunset is always so beautiful to watch. Also many community events take place there such as the Night Market (a popular one with adult beverages sold and plenty of small businesses selling products), Italian Day, Dragon Boat Race, Christmas Festival and more!”
