The Dojo - Samples Rd.

I want to express my gratitude and my appreciation for the staff and coaches at Dojo Samples. We have been training at the Dojo for seven years, and in those seven years, I have watched my children go through highs and lows as they navigate the curriculum. There was a point where my oldest was ready to quit because she was frustrated and reached her breaking point, and there was one coach there who could get her at her level and motivate her. Coach Jazmyn refocused, re-motivated, and re-inspired the spark that was fading. My daughter now loves karate more than she ever has.

Being part of the Dojo has been one of the best things that my children could ever have done. The Dojo is more than just a place of learning. It is also our second family. I have watched new kids come and be welcome with open arms. The dojo teaches much more than karate. It teaches discipline, self-motivation, accountability, and determination to all its students. Yes, there are days my child comes home frustrated and upset from their class, but given time, they can reflect and see that nothing in this life is given to them on a silver platter. You have to work hard, be focused, and train. The dojo doesn’t just hand out any karate belt just because you show up. They have expectations, and they hold our kids accountable for, and as a parent, I appreciate that. Life isn't always rainbows and sunshine. There are days when you’re going to be struggling, and you are going to have to work harder to get to the things that you want.
Being part of the Dojo has been one of the best things that my children could ever have done. I am proud to call The Dojo our second family because that is how they make us feel

My family joined Samples Dojo two seasons ago and I can not say enough about the Samples team, Alecia at the front desk is amazing she is always available to answer questions for parents and to greet the students as they arrive, she is the best organizer I have ever met. Coach Connor is well just amazing he was my daughters first coach and he was just what she needed to ease her into the program and boost her confidence, self esteem and perseverance he coached her gentle and mild but with a firm tone and she has definitely thrives on that. Miss Jasmine well what can I say but love her she is firm, grounded and again exactly what my daughter needs this season, she takes no games, she’s firm, kind and tenacious the children admire her especially my daughter. My family and I are so lucky to have the Dojo family as a part of our lives I can not say enough about this groups they are all simply amazing.

Our daughter used to attend a different after-school karate school and it was good. Then we switched to this one and it was one of the best decisions ever!
The coaches here are not simply to get paid. They truly care about each and every kid from their hearts and take great care of them and their development.
Not only our daughter has been learning extremely well from them, but also we feel like we can truly trust them with our child.
Her physical abilities have improved quite a bit. Her discipline and structure have gotten better. But most of all, she absolutely loves it and always gets excited to come back and learn more.
Thank you to this wonderful team of coaches for the big contribution that you’re bringing to our community and the kids, especially now, when their world has been affected so much by what’s happening.

I’m so grateful for Samples Dojo! We have been loyal members of the Dojo family for several years and the positive influence on our kids is astounding. My fiercely independent daughter is learning focus and discipline. My more timid son is building confidence everyday. The staff listened to every concern we had starting our son at an early age while he was struggling with speech and communication issues and they helped us make it work for him. The instructors keep everything fun, but with expectations to be met, and the kids thrive! Could not recommend more!
