I have worked here for a little over a year. Ive been in practice for over 20 years in quite a few working environments...I love this place-the staff and director are just genuine hard working people who love the practice of healing and supporting people through difficult times.

Family Counseling Associates of North Georgia is an amazing place. Everyone I come in contact with each week is welcoming and knowledgeable. After many failed attempts at therapy throughout the years, this is the first time I have successfully stuck with it. I have been seeing Cristina Lorenz-Hansen for over a year now. She is more than a therapist. She is a kind, caring, funny, and compassionate role model in my life who meets me where I am every session. I do not have words to come close to describe how grateful I am. She came into my life at the perfect time and continually challenges me to grow and become the best version of myself, all while working through the difficult twists and turns throughout my life. My daughter and I have been going here for a year now and I’m so grateful I found this place. We’ve been very pleased with our experience here and the therapists here. They are very flexible because at first I didn’t feel the therapist I was assigned to was a great fit for me. They had no problem switching me to another one that ended up being a great fit. They are very good with children and my daughter has made tremendous progress since being here after being bullied at school and going through a divorce at home. She loves her therapist Shannon M. and really respects her. Her confidence level and overall happiness has improved and she is thriving. I have really enjoyed having Hollie as my therapist while going through a divorce. I was unsure on how to navigate it and she has been there for me every step of the way. I have appreciated her amazing listening skills and wanting to help me reach my goals. I have learned at lot from her already and look forward to learning more and my confidence has improved so much since being there. I love how flexible and friendly everyone is here and the way it’s sets up with the many unique rooms is neat. It’s a wonderful place to receive therapy and I highly recommend it for anyone, any age, and any situation.
