I've been a part of this ministry since the very early days when it no more than a group of highly committed graduates of bible school that had been meeting together as a simple home fellowship. After much prayer, the group decided to rent some space in a business establishment basement to see where God would lead. Here we are 30 plus years later, a full gospel, bible believing, family friendly, music oriented, church in Ramsey, MN serving the community of not only Ramsey, but the surrounding communities as well. Like any church family, we have seen changes through the years. We have always been a charismatic church, believing in the present day operation of the gifts we see in the book of acts when the Holy Spirit filled the upper room like a mighty rushing wind. The Holy Spirit filled the disciples with the manifest powers that Jesus Himself had used to heal the sick, and open the eyes of the blind, etc.
The changes we have seen:
The Toronto blessing. Yes, I've been to Toronto. Yes I have experienced what a touch from God by going there, although I technically was on the way home. I will admit however, there difiniteley is something unique about that particular place. Does New Life Church agree with everything Toronto does? The answer might surprise you. No.
Another important detail I believe I should cover is worship. Music has always played a big role in our church. Our founding pastor was an old rock and roller, and his college major was music. Worship was and remains critical to following Jesus' commandment for New Testament Churches.
Fellowship: We love fellowship! Food and fellowship. Think about it. Just about every society does most of their personal entertaining in their kitchen/dining rooms close to where food is served. Food is a common denomonator that drops walls of timidity and helps foster conversation.
There is so much more, I could give bible references, but decided to keep this real and down to earth. We have nothing to hide. When you walk in our doors on Sunday morning, what you see is what you get. Love, friendship, family, support, commraderie, accountability, acceptance.
Come join us on Sunday. We may be small compared to a mega church. But our hearts are as passionate as ever!

I have been blessed to be part of this loving, caring church for 25 years. We love the Lord and try to help in as many ways as we can. In the past they have helped the homeless by partnering with Family Promise Anoka for many, many years. We have a very active Food Shelf for meeting the needs of our community. We support many missionaries both here and in different countries. New Life has gone to or has had an impact upon 50 countries by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our former Pastor is now going into Missions full-time. We have a new pastor, Pastor Ken who has been to around 30 countries just himself. Come check us out.... you will feel like you have come home to where God will bless you...

Come as you are. Be loved where you are at. And truly experience the Presence of God.

This church sends out missionaries and invests in the community.

You are fed from the Word each week, and it's meat...something you chew on throughout the week...and you find yourselves becoming more like Christ each week because it values the Presence of the Lord, and when you are in His presence, how can you not change??
