I cannot say enough about the staff and how compassionate and helpful they are. I want to recognize Mary D. She helped our family through a very difficult time in our life. She was there to answer all questions and was very understanding. She did not treat us a client but as if we part of her family.
I have had to use Newcomer Southwest funeral home twice in the last 4 years. Most recently for my husband. I have worked with Mary D. both times. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and very understanding. I would have not made it through my husband's planning and service without Mary's guidance. She made the process seamless. Mary was able to help with everything and not even one small detail was left out. I can not recommend a better place to care for your loved one after their passing. Mary if you see this you get 10 stars from me. Keep doing what you do for families, true angel on earth!
I would highly recommend Newcomer Funeral Services to handle the arrangements for your love one. We had the pleasure in working with Lee for both my both and then a year later my mother. The attention and details place in caring for my family was above and beyond.
Lee, our director was patient and informative every step of the way.
Great service and great work!
Ms Mary Durham , I don’t know where to Begin how you made me feel when I stepped into New Comers. You made me feel so comfortable . you were so understanding and patient and helpful you don’t get that other funeral homes I just would like to say thank you.. And when you took out time out of your busy schedule just to check on me that was mine blowing I really appreciate it ..keep up the good work…..
newcomers on Dixie highway was a great help when dealing with my grandfathers funeral arrangements. And his death. My grandfather picked out this funeral home and they treated him very well on getting his stuff situated before he passed. And they also help me get all the rest of things together and finish up on what was left behind. Mary and Becky employees at newcomers was a great help. they walked me through step-by-step on what I needed to know and understood my loss. they was with me and my family the entire time and any questions that need to be asked or answered and if we needed anything they helped me and my family. I gave this number home five stars because they were such a great help and was there every step of the way. so needless to say I recommend this funeral home for anyone because of the excellent service and the staff.
Came here for lunch a few weeks ago and the sign on the door as well as on the website stated that this place opens at 11am. I pulled up at 11:10am and the doors were still locked. I called and of course no one answered. I ended up taking a business call in the parking lot for 20 minutes and decided to try again at 11:40 and the doors were finally unlocked. I sat at the bar and my bartender was a bit personality wise but my food was great. I order the exact same thing every time I go. Lemon pepper wings and fries with a house margarita. The house margarita literally made me gag. It was so sour. My bill was about $30 something much higher than what it usually is. I understand that prices have increased but the service needs to match the price.
Great even with the new changes in society with social distancing.
Food & drinks were good. It wasn't that busy but service was a little slow. For the first time there I did enjoy myself
