We are longtime fans of Scottsdale Farms. We even held a few birthday parties here. It was really disappointing to arrive today to find our daughter's beloved goat area (picture from a previous visit) had become a parking lot, and that the goats were now located in a charged admission area. I am glad the farm is thriving. It was just a shame to see that small town feel disappearing into overcrowded destination farm zone. We will try again after pumpkin patch season and before tree season is in swing. We probably just need to avoid peak seasons now.
My wife and I finally got to go her last week! It was awesome. We had family come in town over the weekend and wanted to take them someplace cool and local, this place fit that perfectly! We can’t wait to go back soon, can only imagine how beautiful it is during the spring time!
Oh my goodness, this place is amazing. It's huge. We spent a quite a while there. Looked around at all the amazing ornamental shrubs out in the front area before heading into the main barn. Got a white lavender mocha latte and a muffin inside and both were delicious. The inside is merchandised gorgeously. They have bird seed, gifts, furniture, tableware, clothes and a large, fabulous assortment of silk flowers, like the really good quality kind. The prices are a bit high but I bought several silk flowers because they are hard to find.
After I finished inside, I roamed around outside and in the greenhouses. Wonderful selection but again, a bit pricey. I ended up leaving with a large, gorgeous succulent and had a lengthy conversation with one of the staff and she was fabulous and gave me lots of ideas and information. I don't live in the area but if I am ever nearby, I will absolutely come back. Also, they had the sweetest dog who was walking around with a blanket on top of him. Lol Adorable! (But heads up if you're afraid of dogs.)
Great Fall Festival. Pumpkin Patch was full of all kinds of Pumpkins. Wheel Barrows were available to transport heavy punkins.Ample Parking available.$ 7 admission to Hayrides, Corn Maze and Farm animals. Cafe food and beverages were available for purchase.Great gift shop with upscale home furnishings.Only negative was there was no where to eat the delicious food all ten Picnic tables were full. Need more seating to eat.
