Just want to say thank you for a WebMD answer you provided several years back in a comment thread about a purple rash moms were worried about. My 5 yr old developed a mysterious purple rash around his mouth suddenly today. I asked him what caused it and he said he didn't know. I found your answer (likely sucking something causing a bruise like rash) and asked him a more direct question and tag da...he said he sucked the mouth of a milk container too hard... all's well, got a laugh, and just wanted to say thanks for sharing your insight.
