I have had the pleasure of training with coach Bryan from TennisFit for 3 years. I switched from hitting in groups/drills to taking private lessons with Bryan, and my experience has been great. The biggest difference between this and hitting in large groups is the personalized attention. When I attended drills previously, they taught all the kids the exact same style of play regardless of their strengths and weaknesses. With Bryan, every second has been spent working on strategy, technique improvement, and fitness specific to my exact game style. In addition, all the miscellaneous aspects of our training were also spot on. The facility has courts with no cracks, there’s access to a ball machine, and rallying with Bryan is very effective because he can adapt his game to nearly any style to provide practice. Lastly, as per the name, fitness is a key aspect of training at TennisFit. Personally, I have shed a significant amount of extra pounds and improved my speed and stamina. TennisFit works towards fitness goals unlike many other programs to make sure you can be the most complete tennis player possible. My experience has been incredible, and I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to take their tennis game to the next level.

Bryan was my coach in high school. He taught me how to play tennis back then, but he taught me a lot more than that. In addition to form, strategy, and fitness (fyi, you WILL get into shape with him. It's not optional), he emphasizes concepts like dedication and mental toughness as critical components to success, both on and off the court. Those are the lessons that stuck with me and that I've benefited from the most, especially at this stage in my life where I'm working to build and grow my law practice.

My son started working with Bryan when he was on his High School tennis team. His goal was to make his college team which he did. It was a long hard road when you consider that he started playing at 15. His physical conditioning was mediocre at best, and by the time Bryan got done with him I was amazed to see a whole new person. When Bryan mentions he is for the serious player, trust me it is not boasting. He expects his students to work hard on their physical conditioning as well as their tennis skills. Practice does not stop after a 1-2 hour lesson. The students must work on all aspects of their game even when not on the court with Bryan. Another important aspect is that Bryan is very honest with his students. He is not going to tell them what they want to hear. If they want to get to a certain level he will set out a plan for them to reach it. It will not be easy. They learn the meaning of hard work and the ups and downs of competitive tennis.

Brian is a great coach. He pushes his athletes in ways that can only improve the players game and confidence. I have only been working with Brain for a short time, but I can see a real improvement from his instruction. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Brian if you are looking to be a better tennis player!
