This is a great urban sanctuary! The tree-lined paths make you want to keep walking forever. Our family loves this place. We are members and return often. Join, you won't regret it.
We had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Chattahoochee Nature Center with the scouts this past weekend, and it was awesome! The kids loved it, it rained and was still enjoyable. The staff there was great, and did inform us that they also host birthday parties here. We were able to see the animals they have there which was really cool! Definitely looking forward to coming back, and having my boys birthdays here this upcoming spring. Go check them out, tell them Eric Berry your GA Realtor sent you.
The 🦋 are just one of many amazing things to do there! The boardwalk has incredible views of the marsh and river. Try to arrive right when they open around 10 am before the Summer Campers arrive and to see the 🦋 during the summer and before it gets too hot. We wish it was open past 5 pm - It's so wonderful for families and it’s so beautiful in the afternoon/when the sun sets!
We love this Preserve, enjoyed the butterfly exhibit and beautiful flowers. The river walk by the Chattahoochee river was pleasant. The best feature of this center is the Aerial Walkway and Zip lines. Great adventure for kids and adults alike.
We had such an amazing time at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Our favorite part was the butterfly 🦋 garden. We probably spent the most time there.
I also loved the informational sessions that cover a variety of topics. When we went they did a class on snakes.
We also checked out their community garden and my kids were able to see many of the fruits 🍓 and vegetables 🧅 🥔 🍅 🥕 they eat growing.
We will definitely be back!
