Smallcakes Buford: A Cupcakery and Creamery

I kept hitting the stars, but it max’d out at five. 🙃 I read on NextDoor that the Buford Smallcakes location offered gluten free cupcakes. I stopped in today and tried one. OMG!! It’s so good. It’s so moist. And they’re big! Not like a tiny version of the real thing…if you’re gluten free you know what I mean. And guess what?! The Snellville location has GF cupcakes, too!! I happened to meet the owner and she was super sweet and informed about gluten (ha! pun intended!) and I’m happy to support this local small business. In fact, as soon as I leave Sprouts, I’m going right back to get two more cupcakes!

They also have ice cream that’s made on site. You can order gluten free cupcakes and pick up the same day. I’ll do that next time for the GF marble cupcakes, those were out on my visit.

Wow..these cupcakes are delicious! They had about 15 or so diiferent flavors of ice cream.I got a half dozen.Great cupcakes! The location at the exchange of Gwinnett is brand new.very clean and friendly staff. Next time I will have to try their cupcake flavored ice cream.

5-stars for the ICE CREAM and NOT the cupcakes! The ice cream is homemade and is downright SPECIAL! Tried the butter pecan, banana pudding and the vanilla. All are totally worth blowing your diet!
The cupcakes are just ok. I had the wedding cake and a chocolate cupcakes. Neither was award-winning.
Great customer service. I will return for more sweet cream!
