She enjoyed their in house field trips from a magician, to the Hip Hop dance instructor, to the Kona Ice truck to name a few. The curriculum exceeded my expectations as the lesson plans incorporated many STEAM oriented activities for her to do each week. “The paved trail is very short. I went around 3 times, just to feel like I got a good walk. Next time I will park near the entrance and walk in from there. There covered picnic tables throughout, bathrooms and waste cans. Each waste can around the trail has dog poop bags. Dog poo appears to be an issue from what I saw, so try to pick up your pets waste to help out the preserve staff. There is a nice lookout area at the back side of the trail overlooking a creek. The interpretive signage is very simple. The wetlands are very pretty even in January.”
