Medlock Bridge Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

First time visiting this place, and I must say I liked it a lot. I went to run, but in my opinion it is not the type of trail to run on. It is absolutely beautiful and a great trail to go for a walk on, but running no so much.

Visited almost 3 years ago.. Medlock Bridge is a large recreation park to cover with plenty of trail and riverboat entry points. You can bring your pets too! Hubby and I went along one of the trails, where we were immediately engulfed by nature and other families. Some of the families were also hiking or fishing or getting ready to kayak and/or swim. It was somewhat crowded since the pandemic had just started and everything was pretty much locked down, but we were able to find a ducked off area of our own and caught a glimpse of the Chattahoochee River. Such a peaceful and lovely scene.

Quick and easy. Really enjoyed the loop. Easy with all trails.beautiful views along the river. Has a lot of mushrooms in bloom right now.

Small manageable park with narrow trails that is well kept. I was the area on business and staying at a hotel a few miles away and this gem popped up for a nice Sunday afternoon stroll. Lots of boats at the launch to the river and a few people picnicking.

Very nice and quite trail. Went here after work to whine down. Took a while to figure out the map. There’s a boat ramps for kayaks. The trails are rigorous that would require a lot of footing. Pets has to be on leash. Over all, it’s a nice place for recreational activities, especially winter to watch the leaves turn.
