Ginny Kington, Psy.D., LLC

Dr. Kington has been the most impactful mental health clinician that I’ve worked with. She guided me through EMDR, which was incredibly helpful for me to process a couple of really difficult traumatic experiences. She is a great partner in the journey of recovery who doesn’t fall into the trap therapy stereotypes some of my prior practitioners have. I’ve worked with her on trauma, grief, and general anxiety. She’s been great with them all, but I would especially endorse her for trauma recovery.

Dr. Kington possesses those characteristics you hope to find in a great therapist; she is empathic, warm, genuine, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable. She offers practical and effective ways to cope with problems rather than just giving advice. She offers great insight when you're feeling stuck and lost; she challenges you in a supportive, non-confrontational way while making you truly feel heard and validated. I highly recommend her!
