I can walk to this club and I am exploring the special program for seniors. Check out their site. A nice walk trying to find your ball is more fun than a gym. I think all golf courses should have bagpipes played as the sun begins to set.
Berkeley is an Anglosaxon name meaning "near the birch meadow " used in Somerset and Gloucester. You'll stumble across many of my ancestors there. Sir Knight Thomas Berkeley is my 20th great grandfather.
Berkeley Castle near Gloucester is said to be where the barons (sureties) of the Magna Carta gathered before meeting King John at Runnymede in 1215. Edward II was executed there.
