J. Alexander's Restaurant

Had dinner here with my girlfriend tonight and really enjoyed my meal. I shop a lot in the area and see this restaurant all the time in passing. The menu selection is very nice and they also have daily specials. I was a little disappointed on there beer selection but they do offer a good amount of cocktails and wine. I ordered calamari to start, my girlfriend got the old fashion burger, and I decided to have baby back ribs. We had fries as or side and I also had coleslaw. Everything was seasoned well and tasted great! I’m interested in there other options but will admit there prices and little more pricey then usual. Our server was attentive and great timing on all services. Definitely will be back for dinner again!

Customer suggested J. Alexander's when I told him I was in the mood for a steak. Arriving at the restaurant I found ample parking ample space at the bar and ample space in a huge dining room with two different levels. Wonderful bartender the server was outstanding and we both ordered the New York strip with mac and cheese. When I asked the waitress what other sides would she recommend besides Mac and cheese, she said you will love the mac and cheese so we both ordered it and we both ordered our New York strips medium rare. The first bite was amazing the first bite with macaroni and cheese and the steak together was out of this world. I told the waitress I was grateful for her advice because the macaroni and cheese was extremely satisfying but the steak was cooked over a wood fire and you could taste the distinct flavor of the wood fire. An amazing place and I will be back the next time I'm in atlanta.

My go-to birthday spot. Love their food and excellent service!!! Every. Time. Today Brenda was our server and she was phenomenal. Best server I've had in quite some time.

From beginning to end!!!! Ahhhmazing!! Once of the best salmon sandwiches I’ve had! Even though I was ordering to go the atmosphere was. Great! The lady at the bar who took my order was helpful! And watching the staff operate in the open kitchen was refreshing!! I will be returning!!
