Largest cuts of pork belly I’ve ever had! Came here on a date with my girlfriend and it was amazing. Exquisite food and friendly customer service. Would absolutely come back again and bring the whole crew!

I visited this BBQ restaurant for the first time, and it seems the place has recently changed ownership or rebranded from Goem BBQ to K 109 BBQ. A friend who lives nearby and frequents the restaurant recommended it, and he knows the owner very well. Overall, I had a pleasant dinner with the Pork BBQ set for two and some Soju. The sauce and side dishes were average, not particularly standing out compared to top competitors in town. The price seemed high for the quantity of meat served. While the service and atmosphere were great, something was missing to give it the highest rating for meal quality.

This is my parents’ favorite Korean bbq restaurant — they specifically come here for the pork belly. I went a few times so far and have had a really great experience each time. You do have to try your luck with your server regarding how well the meat is cooked, but no complaints because everyone is friendly the prices are great (although I live in NYC so all the prices are great down here). Now realistically, will you have the best k bbq of your life? Probably not. But for the price and quality of food and the service, it’s great, so 5 stars.

Also, it’s popular with older people (like my parents) because sometimes if it’s only older people there, they will play music from their college years lol. It’s also not too loud, and the tables are each sectioned off somewhat for privacy — all of which they like.

Update: we recently visited this place and they have improved! The service was good, marinated kalbi was awesome. We will revisit this place again.

This review was 2 yrs ago: We had all you can eat smoke pork belly. Smoke flavor is not for me but the service was good and side dish as well. Two things 1) so smokey my eyes were hurting im not sure if their hood is working well or not. 2) it was hot but their did provide fan.
