Bassett Construction and Diego Fracasso are the BEST! I wish we could give them more than 5 stars. They built us a stunning sunroom, new TimberTech wrap-around deck and beautiful circular stairwell. They were on time, stayed on budget and provided unparalleled creativity and excellent quality. Throughout, they were completely trustworthy and responsive.

Diego communicated effectively and diligently managed the entire project. And his team was comprised of perfectionist tradesmen whom I would hire to do any home improvement job. Our project was challenging and required very creative design services and detailed workmanship. This was no problem for Diego and Bassett, and they exceeded our high expectations, and delivered uncompromising excellence. Diego introduced us to the EZE Breeze system to allow us to enjoy our sunroom virtually year round.

And when we decided to add a circular stairwell with some unique design elements to address our needs and desires, Bassett, Diego and their contractor accomplished everything we wanted at a reasonable cost and with a perfect design. Everyone who sees our sunroom, deck and circular stairway are blow away. As a result, we offer an unqualified recommendation of Basset Construction and Diego Fracasso. You will not be sorry if you use them as we intend to do on our next home improvement project.

I have to say I am more than satisfied with the entire experience. The workmanship, attention to detail and care of my property was exceptional. Bassett (and especially Diego) did a great job turning our deck into a beautiful screened porch—gabled roof, Western red cedar, and a custom-built screen door. They were pros with the structural aspects, took care to match existing details, stayed on time and in budget (with agreed change orders), and good about communicating. Building on existing construction is always more complicated than ground-up, and they handled it well. High quality and reliability aren’t cheap, but Bassett provided good value for us.

We had 5 or 6 contractors out to quote us on demo out our old enclosed porch and to add a new open deck with an arbor in place of it. We were about to go under contract on a Monday with a different contractor, when I received a call from Steve w/h Bassett Construction Services on the Saturday prior. I advised him that we had already verbally agreed to sign with a different company the upcoming Monday, and he asked if he could come out on Sunday to get his bid in no pressure. I said sure why not. Steve came out, and on time, and he literally spent 3+ hrs with us. What sold us with Steve, that none of the other contractors did, was that he went into minute details on how they would do things. He showed us a ton of photos of the work his crews are capable of doing, and he even gave us the option to choose what arbor style/cut we wanted. Again, none of the other companies did that. Steve even went into details about how the arbor had to be supported at the top to prevent the beams from swaying or warping over time. His attention to detail and overall humor sold us. We literally went under contract that same day/Sunday. We elected to put our porch project under permit, as I wanted to ensure and know that everything would be done to code. The permit process took several weeks to get through as we are on a septic tank system. There's some extra steps that one must do if your home is on a septic system. Once we finally got our permit, things moved real quick. The dumpster was delivered and then the materials. We were told to expect 2 weeks for everything to get done. We were a little stressed on the time frame and I'm thrilled to say this crew not only did a magnificent job, but they got it done in 7 days. If you get Jaime (pronounced Hami) :) as your lead tech, rest assure you're in awesome hands. My husband & I was so worried about what might get damaged to get the old enclosed porch torn out, but Jaime and his helper tech were phenomenal. This wasn't their 1st rodeo. :) The overall structure of our new porch an arbor is well built and they added extra little details that we weren't expecting, but it helps to give our deck the WOW FACTOR! Diego the office PM, stayed in constant communications with me throughout the whole process. On Day 7 the permit inspector came out and gave us a final stamp of approval. The inspector also mentioned on his own that he had just inspected another porch, done by others, and he said that porch didn't look nowhere as nice as ours. Jaime and his helper tech deserve a pat on the back for that comment. The Brown's & Black Jade Rottweilers gives Bassett Construction Services a 100 star rating. They totally deserve your business!!!
