Merlin Marine

Purchased a boat and found out they built the engine. So far loving all of it. Needed some new stickers so I called and they sent some right over to me for free!! Very nice on the phone so if I’m ever back in the area I’d love to visit in person.

I’ve been to I feel like every shop in the Atlanta area and have been robbed by all but these guys. I called Thursday, they got me in the following Monday and out the door the same day. They are a mercury racing specialist and you can tell. These guys know motors and power boats. If you have a 1983 Bayliner that you live on part time…. they will love you like a customer but likely won’t work on your boat. If you have kept up nice PowerBoat that you want to stay on the water and you aren’t giving them then the business you’re doing yourself a disservice and the expectations you have had for every other shop in Atlanta will continue.

You walk in the shop, it’s organized, and professional. I walked away knowing nobody cut corners and they didn’t need to make their house payment off my one transaction. Not going to lie, it felt good.

Merlin Marine treats you as a valued customer from the time you meet them. They had to take my engine out and have it machined, added lifters, camshaft, rebuilt the carburetor, and set it up according to blueprint.
We were able to add an EMI exhaust, new bilge pump and trim pump. They advised me that I needed a two battery set up, and installed it very professionally. I now have a very fast and reliable lake-tested boat, instead of a sketchy older boat.
The shop was run very professionally, and Tony and Denise give you extremely good service with no nonsense answers and advice. They literally know everything about boats and give you great service and a good value for the cost. Plus I made a couple of good friends!

The Merlin Marine team is very knowledgable and their shop is clean and organized. I loved the fact this is a family owned business without a lot of techs. The owners personally worked on my boats! They were honest and straight forward with what needed to be done. They’re not service writers trying to suggest unnecessary things to run up the bill! Additionally, I’ve struggled with other places not knowing what they were doing and having to take my boats back multiple times. Merlin Marine got it done right the first time!

The work was done on time, the boat was returned cleaner than when I had dropped it off, the owner is available to talk directly about problems and concerns, and they're honest and forthcoming about absolutely everything. I have sent friends of mine their way. We are all high-performance owners and appreciate the caliber of workmanship they provide.
