Southern Crescent Baptist Church

The church is warm and welcoming. The pastor is wonderful. He conveys the Bible in a straight forward manner and teaches how it applies to your everyday life.

It is such an amazing Church

Friendly people, casual style, God inspired messages and wonderful small groups. Come find where you fit in. Great kids Wednesday night program and the best youth pastor, engaging and mission focused.

This is more of a review of the youth ministry. We attend a different church in Newnan, GA, which we love but that certainly doesn't mean there are not other great churches that need a great review so searchers can find them!

I'm reviewing this church because this is the second time (4 years apart) that one of my children has come home from youth camp and raved about how friendly the kids were from SCBC. Two of my children, 4 years apart, has went to camp and felt that SCBC kids totally tried to include and befriend them. This year, the SCBC kids made friends with my son and really made him feel included. Isn't that what every teen wants? It's a lot easier to learn about Jesus when you don't feel like an outcast!

If I moved to McDonough, this would be the first church I'd visit.

Great job, SCBC and parents, on teaching your students to reach out to others!

Plenty if parking. I was greeted at the door and many times once inside. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They have Sunday school classes for every age and the music was great.
