This school is small and designed for kids who can learn BUT can’t keep up in a general classroom with lots of kids. The website is clear and it does not admit kids with agressive or physical behaviors. One if not THE reason why I feel safe with my kid attending here. Not only are the kids able to learn but they can learn without being bullied or fear of threat or harm. Some schools aren’t for everyone which is why you should read the website FIRST instead of thinking the school is just going to admit a kid because the parents are desperate and need a place to put their kid. Small schools who try to do good are constantly getting flack because they don’t do this-don’t do that. Everything isn’t for everyone- that includes schools too. This school teaches kids how to learn foundationally, and that alone speaks volumes! My kid couldn’t read, was a NON reader months ago. All that has changed, and I have Benjamin Academy to thank.

Benjamin Academy helped my grandson. He wasn't learning in public school. I have noticed great improvement.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dawn (Director) for many years. As a Speech Pathologist , I’ve worked collaboratively with Dawn and several of her students with various special needs and diagnoses including various learning disabilities , Autism Spectrum Disorders , and a number of behavioral disorders.

Dawn is knowledgeable about IEPs, 504s and many other resources that are often difficult for parents to navigate. This is a clean school with a small classroom setting and allows for a personable experience for parents and their children.

All I can say is FANTASTIC JOB!! I've seen the great work that the staff does with students and it is helping the studemts to progress. Such care is taken with individual learning plans, that will help a student transition from depency to indepence. I would highly recommend this school.

I love this school. It is for high functioning kids who learn at their own pace, not in a general classroom. These kids are bright and highly functional. This school is not for every kid just because it is special needs. The administrator is very nice and thorough. The place is an amazing environment for kids to learn.

This is a wonderful school for children with special needs. Mrs. Dawn, Mrs. Perry, and staff are excellent and knowledgeable of helping the children and family. My daughter loves coming here!
