My daughter got her hair done here for the first day of school a while ago and they did a pretty decent job. My regular stylist doesn’t have anything open for a month so I decided to try here. You have to make an account to make an appointment and after I did that, the website doesn’t recognize my sign up. So click forgot password…still nothing. Way too much to book an appointment. I’ve spent a little over 20 minutes just trying to sign up and book an appointment. I’m too frustrated and judging by the other reviews on surprise fees, I’ll pass. And before the owner tries to jump on here and say I’ve never been…I most definitely have and have the receipt to prove it and I’m more than willing to show it if need be. I can also attest to surprise fees. I paid $145 for a silk press. I gave 4 stars because my daughters hair looked good. Took the other star away because of the difficulty of the website (it’s been changed twice since I last booked).

Lastly, judging by the owners response’s, I think it’s fair to assume it’s a little “hood” here. What professional do you know responds to a customer’s complaint with “I got TIME today”.

Love love love this salon! I don’t go anywhere else to get my hair styled. They have such a welcoming and warm environment. After starting my natural journey at a different stylist I started coming here, and they’ve kept my hair healthy and growing. I always go in knowing I’m going to get the results I want and love! They never disappoint.

I am fairly new to the area and was looking for a stylist who is about healthy hair and efficient with my time. Studio 23 was less than a mile from my home so I was stoked to try it. I have been here since. EJ does my hair so wonderfully people literally stop me asking is it real and to tell me how beautiful it is. I appreciate that and her not having me sit around for hours. I’ve never been there over 2hrs. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. I’ve recommended several people and will continue. EJ is definitely talented and knowledgeable in this hair game. Love her and Z!

What an amazing job my hair was completed damage due to breakage and bald spots possibly from the braids and no real treatment.

I had my first experience in this salon and it was great. The owner EJ did my hair and it turned out amazing! I even decided to get my daughters hair done as well. The customer service was nice and friendly, the music made for good relaxing vibes and even though I was a walk in I didn't have to wait long. I walked in with a head full of hair and trusted her to relax, cut, dye and style my hair. Luckily she did not let me down!! I would definitely recommend and I will absolutely be back!
