Hawaiian Diving Adventures

We had the best time! Our dive masters, Caleb and Andrew, managed our group of 5 (ages 45-13) and were very patient with our anxiety and lack of skills. They gave us confidence in the water because of how clearly directions were explained and made the process so effortless.

We saw A LOT of sea creatures, the reef shark being my favorite. They took the time to stop and show us creatures we would have missed and they even helped us interact with a few of them.

I’m summary, our experience with Caleb, Andrew and HDA was perfect!

Awesome group to dive with! Andrew was a great instructor and the entire crew was friendly and knowledgeable. I took the SSI Open Water course and had a blast! I look forward to future dives with this company! Customer service is great, they take plenty of time to work with your needs and communicate all parts of the courses thoroughly. Despite my own nerves, they made sure to coach me through the learning curve of the underwater world. All around this was an amazing experience and has me excited to keep learning more about the sport.

From my very first interaction, I was impressed with this company. They were they only company who promptly replied to emails and actually answered the phone when I called (where I didn't have to wait on a return call, which is difficult with the time difference). They provided my brother and I with helpful information and didn't encourage the purchase of unnecessary items in order to work on our dive certification with them.

When we did our dives to obtain our certifications, we were treated to sites that were not already overwhelmed with other divers, and were able to see a multitude of turtles, sharks, eels, and fish in addition to the beautiful coral. HDA was also very patient with my youngest child, who was greatly encouraged and helped (not pushed) by the instructor to learn the skills necessary for diving. They even praised her skills and willingness to learn, despite the fact that she eventually decided that diving was not a good fit for her during our vacation. They took time to make sure that all of our group, despite our varying abilities, was able to feel comfortable performing our new skills.

If I make it back to HI in the future, I will definitely try to book additional dives and/or additional certifications with HDA!

Andrew was awesome we saw hundreds of fish of all colors and sizes. We touched an Octopus, saw many sea turtles. This experience was worth every penny. I'm not sure why I didn't do something like this years ago. Me and my wife had never been diving before had no previous scuba experience and this was painless and super enjoyable I'm only sad that I didn't book another dive before we had to leave Hawaii.The safety training was good and Andrew was very patient and help ease our fears.

Had a great experience and an awesome dive! My friend and I have been with them for three dives now and we highly recommend. Caleb does a great job keeping you safe while also showing you great dive spots on Oahu. Saw lots of sea life and had so much fun!
