“Emilie and Kenjie were *great* instructors and we had an excellent time. Neither of us had much experience with diving prior to this excursion but we both left with huge smiles on our faces and a desire to go again! Emilie was great at explaining how everything worked, how to keep safe, and how to communicate underwater. She is also easy to talk to and I had no problem asking a bunch of questions (thank you for your patience, Emilie!). By the time it was over it felt like we had just gone diving with a new friend. She also mentioned that she certifies people if you're looking to go that route!”

“Aloha divers is a fantastic dive company. They take safety and customer service extremely seriously. The captain Justin was always cordial and the dive masters were knowledgeable about navigating the sites. It is a perfect dive operation for beginner divers as they do not allow things to go south and are extremely open and interactive with the entire process. They do a great job of checking up in divers and making sure they are comfortable.”

“Great small school with outer island cozy feel in lush green valley atmosphere. Lots of parents are needed for support and volunteerism to maintain higher quality experience. The principal and staff can only do so much. It's easy to criticize the teachers and staff and also easy to see they need your help with time and money. Constructive input and positivity is a plus. Thanks Nuuanu for a job well done!”

“My child has been attending The Children’s Courtyard at Valley Ranch for almost two years. I was very pessimistic at first due to the poor experiences we had at the previous day care. However, I can say that switching my child to this facility has been the best decision we’ve made. Of course, like any other child care, there have been some accidents. However, the director Marsha does an excellent job at resolving any issues that may arise. The teachers that our son has had this far (Chastity & Amanda) have been so patient, caring and kind. I recently switched jobs and I make a 30-minute drive daily but, it’s worth knowing my child is in caring hands. We can tell he loves going, has fun and is so advanced in learning.”

“I took a series of lessons from Chris because I wanted to become more comfortable with swimming in the ocean. These lessons went beyond my expectations - Chris has a clear, consistent and encouraging teaching style, and a great sense of humour. I have a greater respect for the difference between ocean and pool swimming. My technique has improved and I feel more confident swimming in the ocean than I thought possible. Chris is an incredible coach that anyone would be lucky to work with.”

“I'm an alumni, so I'm a little bias on how great the school is. It's music program is very strong on setting up the kids to a life long appreciation for music. I'm an art person but have enjoyed many concerts played by my friends back during my time at the school and once again when my daughter attended the school. Keep up the great program.”

“I am proud to be one of the first students when the school was built in '57. Prior to that we had to go to an old Navy barracks at a different site. The first class started out as Juniors since there were no Seniors yet. Thus, I enjoyed being the senior class TWICE. How cool it that? The campus was without landscaping plants or athletic programs. It was simply buildings, teachers, and students. The principal was Dr. Mann. He was not well liked. My primary activity was as the school projectionist and got to run the movie projector for learning videos. Remember, this was WAY before video cameras or even Polaroid for that matter.”
