Pālolo Chinese Home

PCH / Palolo has a 2 story older wing, a one story new wing shaped like a rectangle, and an administration building that seems to be empty most of the time. The entire facility has an interesting history contained in their archives, including a Kapiolani Community College term paper under my real name done around 2013. I would recommend anyone to put their loved ones here.

Very nice place for adult day care. When my mother-in-law fell down in April, she had to have a hip surgery. She went to Palolo Chinese Home for rehabilitation services for about a month. During that time we would face time with her once a week as we were not able to talk to her because of the COVID-19. After she came home and could walk with a walker, we put her in adult day care from Monday to Friday. She also gets a bath there. My mother-in-law likes it there and she is sociable to the other residents there.

Nurses care is good and they are friendly. Once in a while my mother in law gets her nails painted and they do all sorts of activities there.

I would highly recommend putting your elderly parents or grandparents there.
