20 of us were celebrating an uncle's birthday and we had decided on Chinese food for dinner. We regularly eat there in group and enjoy the food and the great service.
My wife worked here years ago and is obsessed with the food. Being from Utah, we only get this when we come into town, so the cravings are huge.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a hole in the wall Chinese joint. The food though is great, the portions are large and the options are plenty.
Our favorites are the crispy gaugee, mabu tofu, cake noodle with gravy, pork char sui, choy sum with garlic, Hong Kong shrimp and broccoli beef.
Good stuff and nice local/ family vibe. Service was quick and friendly, portions were big enough we had plenty left over for lunch the next day, too. I wasn't a huge fan of their wontons (just didn't like the thicker dough they used--personal preference though, because my daughter liked them). The broth in their soup was amazing, though, and the flavors of everything were delicious! If we were staying longer, we'd definitely go back!
The best place to eat on the North shore if you are craving asian food. The most healthiest option on the whole island, in my opinion.
