“The store is a part of the Polynesian Cultural Center. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable about their products. Shout out to Terrie! She’s very friendly and you can tell she has a love for music. Lots of ukuleles made locally and abroad to choose from. There’s a gift shop at the far end of the store and on the other end is a section where you can see displays and history of how ukuleles are built and there’s also an area where you can get a free lesson. I joined the class. I had always thought of bringing home a ukulele each time I visited the Hawaiian islands. We went back another day and Terrie gave me a one on one lesson and helped me select the soprano ukulele that I took home. We went back one more time to visit with Terrie to be sure I selected the right uke for me. One other staff also jumped in and gave advice on the ukulele that I bought. Definitely a great place to start if you’re interested in buying a ukulele. A great ukulele experience indeed!”

“I really loved this hike. The trail takes you through diverse land environments, which keeps things entertaining over the ~5.5-km distance (one-way). Of course, the star of the show is the falls at the end - several areas to swim. The water was a bit cold (December), but it was super refreshing after the trail. You need a permit for this hike, and it is recommended that you park at the park just before the entrance to the trail. Highly recommend!”

“This is a nice library, very calm and peaceful. Whenever I was there I was able to really focus on my study, it is just a great place to study and learn! They also have study rooms that you can sign up for group study. I do feel like they can have more resources than they do right now.”

“Ordered invitation cards for my brother's wedding and was absolutely satisfied with the service. Although they require specific measurements, the results is just as you expected. Price is also affordable. Go there for anything.”

“The Lumi Yoga + Surf Camp was a great experience! So much so that I've returned and experienced Lumi Yoga a second time! Jykä and Reetta were amazing hosts. The family of kids that are also in the accommodations are great kids. I stayed in my own private room at their house which is only a few minutes from the beach by car. I had access to a bike (provided by Lumi) to tour the island with complete freedom. One of the best parts is that you can experience the island like a local. They definitely made me feel like part of the family. Something you don't experience at an Air B&B or traditional hotel. I look forward to coming back and visiting again!”

“Friendly local workers working hard to ensure everyone knows what they're getting & how it's properly used. I bother them almost everytime to come check my car engine/battery in the parking lot. Great place, awesome workers, all the parts you'll need. What more do you want?”

“What a fabulous experience we had at Na Hoku yesterday!!! HALEY was absolutely amazing!!! She taught us so much about pearls and created such a memorable experience for my daughters as they picked out their first pearl from an oyster!! By the time we left the shop, we felt like Haley was part of our family. The pendants for my daughters and our babysitter and our nanny will be treasured for years to come. Thank you Haley and thank you Na Hoku for giving us a beautiful Hawaiian memory!! Mahalo!”

“One of my favorite hidden gems. The beach is seldom busy and beautiful. You can actually walk to the bird sanctuary island across the bay. Quite a lot of parking, bathrooms are nice and clean very comparable to others up and down the east side. Great spot for a family camp or day picnic. I’ve brought visiting friends here and they love the quiet and wonderful beach.”

“By far the best decorating store on the island. A huge variety of decor items and the best Christmas tree ornament selection on the island too - including the Waikiki Christmas store. Beautiful selection for every budget. Located at the Polynesian Culture Center, but just outside. You don't have to pay the entrance fee to go to this store or any of the food vendors or stores in the Hukilau Market.”

“Located at the entrance of the Market place. Next to the Polynesian Cultural Center. My family and I ordered the kalbi ribs, spicy and teriyaki chicken rice plate. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. The meat was tender with lots of flavor. There are plenty of tables but I've seen instances where different parties may eat together.”

“My husband and I would highly recommend Hawaii Tours! Our driver Lyman was just great! Super friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the area! We had a great morning today on a tour of Pearl Harbor. Very powerful and emotional, a must see. To finish the tour he drove us around the city and we all said hello to King Kamehameha. Thanks Lyman, for a great time! 🤙🏼🌺”

“Shaina was the best! I haven’t bought my wife jewelry since we got married (over 10 years) and Shaina made it happen. Her charisma, personal touch and knowledge made the whole experience come to life. My wife is so excited for her ring and my daughter can’t stop talking about her necklace. Thanks Shaina and the team!”

“We enjoyed our visit very much. Nice place to walk around on your own. Love the history of this place. 1919. Found out the Visitors Center on the Temple grounds has a short movie on the history of Laie and surrounding area. So Inspiring! Very Peaceful Place. Some of the most beautiful landscaping you will see on Oahu. Mike & Debbie La Mesa, CA”
