Laie Hawaii Temple

A beautiful building to visit in Oahu! Built in the early 1900's. The entrance is breathtaking and the visitor's center informational and free. A great Sunday stroll!Everyone was very friendly. Even saw a mongoose skitter across the sidewalk!

It’s a wonderful place to explore Mormonism! Sister Paji and Sister Cahoon spent much time with me explaining Mormonism to me and answering my questions. The view is splendid! Temple on the top is the house of God for saints to worship God; Chapel on the right is a meetinghouse for services which are open to the public. The clear greenish water originating from the mother in the picture before the temple who pours her water of love onto her children flows down the pools, suggestively down the road, crossing the street to the temple’s garden and then into the open ocean, spreading it out on earth. What an awesome metaphor of philanthropist!

Incredible place with an incredible feeling about it. The visitors center was amazing and so fun to go through with the kindest people. There's a secret garden area behind the temple that makes the already lovely walk, even better. I could never get enough of this place.

Everything about was wonderful! I invite all those who REALLY wanna step inside this holy temple one day, member of the church or not, to learn more about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to understand it. The visitor centre right next to it is filled with wonderful and enthusiastic sister missionaries READY to answer your questions! Be ready to learn ! You’re welcome ;)

We enjoyed our visit very much. Nice place to walk around on your own. Love the history of this place. 1919. Found out the Visitors Center on the Temple grounds has a short movie on the history of Laie and surrounding area. So Inspiring! Very Peaceful Place.
