Superb Asian food and grocery store. Fresh fish and meat products on ice. Plus a delicatessen with Filipino cuisine.
Seafoodcity has best selection of our local Hawaii fish and the more exotic fish favored by our Philippines culture. Ive met so many nice people chatting about the fish on display that I've never seen before, such as the BELT FISH . Seafood city is also my favorite place to buy fresh local vegetables!
Cleaner now that staff is more focused on merchandising. They've got a huge produce section but very little variety. It was very easy to navigate and find things that I need that cannot find at a regular grocery store. Specialty items are cheaper but regular items are pricey.
Cleanest and busiest out of three popular locations to purchase fish with cleaning and cutting. Beef pork and chicken also available too. Good selection of Asian vegetables and sauces as well as sides. One stop supermarket for you dinner party. Don’t forget the take out and dessert places that line the store. Masarap!!
I only just started shopping here in the last 1-2 years and I'm in love. Definitely my favorite place for Filipino veggies and ingredients. There's There's Today sanitizing station upon entry and sanitizing hand stations around around store. Today, their selection of vegetables were amazing. It looked like they just stocked up. Seriously, if you're gonna make a Filipino dish (or any Asian dish) go here to get your ingredients. I also love that there's a Magnolia and Jollibee. I got my fried chicken fix and halo halo fix 😆. There's also a Red Ribbon bakery and other inside restaurants. I've turned the shopping trip into a 'field trip' for my 7 yr old son. We looked at the seafood and saw all the different selections to choose from and I did the same with the vegetables. He compared them to the vegetables in his Zelda video games. Today we just need a few ingredients for tonight's dinner but I left feeling inspired to cook more Filipino dishes and other dishes such as Thai & Vietnamese. Thank you for reading I hope you will stop by Seafood City for your next grocery shopping.
