“We chose St Mark for our oldest daughter when she was in kindergarten. We had heard good things about the school. I especially liked the small size (less intimidating for a 5 year old), it’s not too far from home and that they teach Christian values. We have been very happy with all of her teachers thus far (communication, fun and challenging curriculum). I appreciate being able to email or text teachers and get a timely response. I’ve seen teachers email at all hours which, I think, is above and beyond. They are thinking about my child at 10 at night or 5 in the morning! It’s important to me that my children enjoy school and they do. It makes learning more effective and eliminates most of the morning battles. We now have 3 of our children there.”

“Mike with underwater Oahu was great to dive with. My two daughters, aged 11 and 10 did their open water dives with him to complete their open water certification. He was so good with them and clearly understands how to work with kids. He was safe and an excellent teacher. He taught me a few things too. The equipment is clean and very functional. we had no issues. He is very prepared. He’s got a good sense of humor and showed us some fun things at Electric Beach. I will definitely dive with Underwater Oahu again next time we’re there”

He has helped our family out numerous times and has become not only our Pastor, we call this church our home church, and he has also become very close to our family. “Aloha divers is a fantastic dive company. They take safety and customer service extremely seriously. The captain Justin was always cordial and the dive masters were knowledgeable about navigating the sites. It is a perfect dive operation for beginner divers as they do not allow things to go south and are extremely open and interactive with the entire process. They do a great job of checking up in divers and making sure they are comfortable.”

“I went there for the last few months of my 5th grade year. I have to admit, it was overall a pretty good school. I was an understudy for the Mayday Court, I had good grades, I made some great friends, and had an amazing teacher. So it wasn't that bad of a school. I liked it. I was in basketball, I was active, and got an overall pretty great education. I am now in the 7th grade almost in 8th, and I can say that Solomon was a great school for me to end up going to when I first moved to Hawaii. :)”

“Great small school with outer island cozy feel in lush green valley atmosphere. Lots of parents are needed for support and volunteerism to maintain higher quality experience. The principal and staff can only do so much. It's easy to criticize the teachers and staff and also easy to see they need your help with time and money. Constructive input and positivity is a plus.
